  • 1 9 inch pie pan
  • 1 cheese grater
  • 1 small mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 9 inch prepared pie dough
  • 6 cups shredded apple
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375℉
  • Prepare pie crust - roll out the pie dough on a lightly floured surface and place in the pie pan
  • Peel and shred apples - use 5-6 large apples to make cups of apples. Place shredded apples in pie crust WITHOUT pressing them down.
  • Mix cream filling and pour over apples - mix flour, heavy cream, vanilla, and sugar together in a small bowl. Pour over apples in pie pan.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon over the apple filling
  • Bake for 1 hour or until the pie is golden brown and the center of the pie is set up
