Easy High Altitude Apple Crisp with Crumble Topping

Apple Filling
- 6 cups apples peeled & sliced
- ⅓ cup white sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
Crumble Topping
- 1 ½ cup quick oats
- ⅓ cup all purpose flour
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup butter melted
PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 ℉ - prepare the baking dish by applying a thin coat of butter
PEEL AND SLICE APPLES - slice the apples to approximately ½ inch by ½ inch pieces or smaller for softer baked apples.
PLACE APPLES IN PAN & SPRINKLE WITH CINNAMON, SUGAR, & SALT - combine the cinnamon, sugar, & salt in a bowl then sprinkle over apples for even distribution
MELT BUTTER - in a microwave safe bowl melt the butter
COMBINE ALL THE CRUMBLE TOPPING INGREDIENTS - combine in a large bowl and mix together with a fork until crumbly
SPRINKLE THE CRUMBLE OVER THE APPLES
BAKE FOR 30 MINUTES
