Easy Chocolate Brownie Heath Bar Trifle Recipe

  • 1 Trifle Dish

Ingredients

  • 1 9x13 pan of brownies baked
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix made according to package directions
  • 1 16 ounce cool whip thawed
  • 1 package heath bar toffee bits

Instructions

  • Cut the brownies into small pieces. Place half of the brownies on the bottom of the trifle dish.
  • Spread half of the chocolate pudding onto the brownie layer.
  • Spread half of the whipped topping onto the chocolate pudding layer.
  • Sprinkle half of the heath bar toffee bits onto the chocolate pudding layer.
  • Repeat the layers with the other half of the ingredients.
  • Refrigerator at least 1 hour or overnight before serving.

Notes

NOTE:
The number of layers will depend on the size of your trifle dish.  A traditional English trifle has 2 layers but personally I like the look of 3 layers.
