Delicious Triple-Layer Peanut Butter Brownies

A decadent fusion of fudgy chocolate brownies blanketed by a velvety, whipped peanut butter layer topped with a thin layer of smooth chocolate ganache and crunchy peanuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 9x13 brownie homemade or box mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 package vanilla instant pudding 3.4 ounces
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cup cool whip frozen
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup dry roasted peanuts chopped

Instructions

  • Bake the brownies according to the recipe or package. Allow the brownies to cool completely.
  • Whisk milk and instant vanilla pudding together for 2 minutes.
  • Add the peanut butter and powdered sugar to the pudding mixture. Spread an even layer over the brownies.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and cool whip for 1 minute, stir every 30 second intervals.
  • Spread the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer. Note: the chocolate layer will be very thin.
  • Sprinkle the chopped peanuts over the chocolate layer.

Notes

High Altitude Brownie Mix:
add 1/4 cup of all purpose flour to the brownie mix and bake according to the package instructions
