Why you’ll love these monster cookies:

PERFECT MASHUP OF FLAVORS – the perfect combination for an all-star cookie with peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate chips, and M&Ms. Or add your favorite candies into the cookie.

SOFT & CHEWY – personally I hate hard, crunchy cookies. So I worked hard to perfect this soft and chewy texture even at high altitude.

QUICK & EASY – no need to make these cookies hour ahead of time and let them chill, instead simply mix together in a bowl with a fork and pop them in the oven.

High Altitude Monster Cookie Ingredients:

BUTTER – I use salted and unsalted butter interchangeable in this recipe without difference in the taste. The butter needs to be softened (not melted), so just pop the butter in the microwave for a few seconds until it’s nice and soft.

BROWN SUGAR & WHITE SUGAR – a cookies isn’t good unless it has the perfect amount of sweetness

LARGE EGG & WATER – these help add moisture and hold the cookie dough together

SALT & VANILLA EXTRACT – both help to enhance all the yummy flavors (a little secret of mine…vanilla is the one ingredient I never measure when I’m baking)

ALL PURPOSE FLOUR & INSTANT OATS – the base that creates the soft and chewy cookie

BAKING SODA – the leavening agent for the cookies. ALWAYS measure accurately, especially at high altitude.

CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER, CHOCOLATE CHIPS, & M&Ms – the explosion of flavors
