With only 5 basic ingredients, 10 minute preparation time, and 45 minute bake time this chicken casserole really comes in handy for a busy night. This easy recipe calls for smart time-saving ingredients like canned cream of chicken soup and canned chicken and rice soup. Save even more time by grabbing a rotisserie chicken at your local grocery store to use in the casserole.

5 glass bowls filled with cream of chicken soup, chow mein noodles, evaporated milk, cooked chicken, and chicken and rice soup

Cooked chicken – cut the chicken into bite-size pieces

Chicken and rice soup – using canned soup is a great way to save time by adding cooked rice and chicken broth to the casserole

Cream of chicken soup – this adds the perfect creaminess that creates the best part of the casserole. Tip: cream of mushroom soup can be substituted

Evaporated milk

Chow mein noodles – top the casserole off with these crunchy noodles to add the perfect finishing touch

How to make 5-Ingredient Chicken Casserole:

1. Preheat oven

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Combine the ingredients

Mix together the cooked chicken, chicken and rice soup, cream of chicken soup, and evaporated milk put into the casserole dish. Add the chow mein noodles onto the top.

Tip: no need to use cooking spray in casserole dish

3. Bake for 45 minutes

Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until the casserole is bubbling and the chow mein noodles are a crunchy golden brown.

4. Enjoy!
